Our Annual General Meeting will be held:
? Wednesday, May 6

? Curling Club Lounge

We encourage anyone interested in joining the executive or an appointed position for the 2026/27 season to reach out to President Craig Schelter at smapresident1@gmail.com. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor.

If multiple nominees are put forward for a position, each will have 2 minutes to speak before a secret ballot vote.

Members who attend the AGM will receive $25 off registration per parent/guardian attending to a maximum of $50.00/family.

Proceedings at General Meeting

The order of business at General Meeting of the Association shall be:

• Calling of the meeting to order;
• President’s address and introduction of Executive Officers;
• Review of the minutes of the last General Meeting;
• “Adoption of minutes” from the last General Meeting;
• Reading of correspondence and notices;
• Presentation of reports of Executive Officers;
• Presentation and adoption of the financial statement;
• Reports of special committees;
• Special resolutions;
• Old business;
• Notice of new business;
• Election of Executive Officers shall be in the following order and are all up for new one year terms with the exception of the president who has one year remaining and the registrar which is a new two year term.  The appointed positions of Referee-in Chief, Assistant Referee-in-Chief, Head Coach,  and Treasurer shall be for a two (2) year term.  The appointed positions of FundRaising Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Goalie Coach shall be for a one (1) year term.  
  1. President; (1 of 2 year term, not up for election)
  2. Vice President; 
  3. Secretary; 
  4. Registrar;  (new two year term)
  5. Ice Manager;
  6. Tournament Coordinator;
  7. Risk Manager/Team First;
  8. Senior Director;
  9. Junior Director;
  10. Member at Large (1 position)
• Motion to destroy election ballots; and
• Adjournment of the meeting.
